Test Number One: Does She Like Surprise Flowers?

It's never too early to start this training I suppose, and while I still feel very uneducated on the matters of being a gentleman, I must try a few things to see how my lady friends will react. So the topic is: Flowers. How many to get? What kind? What color? Considering my no-wage income right now, I think I will have to keep it simple. I will try a single red rose, just to be traditional. I will be giving it to my lady friend at her house right before I pick her up. Of course, she doesn't know that I will be giving her this token of my appreciation. So I will have to post later what the reaction was. The surprise might unsettle her, or it could make her delighted... I could have just picked the wrong flower.

On the subject of where I will be taking her, we are going to a bonfire at a friends house where there will be sparklers and smores. It sounds like a romantic yet social place to spend time together, so I will have to also re-account how that worked out. I will also be wearing my jacket, as it just rained and I want to be prepared if she feels a bit chilly during our stay. This way, I can give my jacket to her and practice anticipating her needs before she tells me about them.
